One more tick off the bucket list

I was hoping one day to be able to see Three Days Grace live but didn't know if that would ever happen given the band's ununited status for a few years. I was thrilled that they were on tour again and loved being able to see them. It was great hearing all their hits being performed live. I would give the show 5 stars but there were some things that I felt could improve. First of all, the format with having 3 lead-in bands. I felt that a show with one opening band would have provided for a longer setlist from Three Days Grace. Another detraction was the volume of the music. I'm no stranger to loud music and I love the music loud, but this show seemed to exceed the comfort level at times.

So freaking awesome!

My best friend and I love 3 Days Grace. I snatched tickets as soon as possible. It was really easy to pick seats and purchase the tickets online, and I got reminder emails the week before the event. Parking was not as big of a headache as I thought it would be, and security was very respectful but thorough, and that made me feel safer at this large gathering. The best thing about this concert other than the music was the beverage stands ON EVERY FLOOR! We had top balcony seats and I was so relieved that we wouldn't have to go all the way back down to the ground floor for drinks. The 2 opening bands and the main event were AMAZING!!! I had never even heard of the other 2, but I am now definitely going to look into their music. And the lead singer was so engaging with the crowd and full of energy. Hands down the best concert I've ever been to, and as my friend's first live concert, she had a blast. Also, shout out to the stage crew for changing the stage around so quickly during intermissions. And an even bigger shout out to security in front of the stage catching the crowd surfers and keeping everyone safe.
